This is My Why

My journey as a mother has had more twists and turns than I could’ve ever expected and some that I NEVER saw coming. I always knew I wanted to be a mother and was ready to start a family right after getting married. My career as a speech pathologist AND the journey of the last 18+ years as a mom have taught me so much; about feeding, relationships, motherhood, and mostimportantly, who I am.

Professionally, I’ve been working with infants, toddlers, and their families since 2001 and before that, my love for babies and toddlers really blossomed when I started babysitting at the age of 12. I knew I loved working with and supporting tiny humans, but what I came to realize was that educating and empowering parents was equally as fulfilling. This has been even more clear to me in the past few years as I’ve experienced the illness and loss of my own mother and imultaneously dove deeper into the world of infant development and attachment both professionally and for personal reasons. Motherhood is complicated and so is feeding.

As I pivot into the next chapter of my career, my purpose is to share all I’ve learned with parents far and wide because it’s the type of guidance I wish someone had shared with me when my boys were little. It would‘ve made a difference for me and so I hope that it will make a difference for you and your child(ren).

My goal is to use science-based information and research to provide you with small steps that you can take to support your child AND your own wellness along the way. To use my love of learning and understanding of parent-child relationships, especially within the context of feeding, to cheer you on as you discover who you are as a parent as well as how you want to be.

I hope to make a difference in this world, one parent at a time.

My Purpose

Help with Feeding supports mothers and babies as they navigate the beautiful and sometimes difficult journey that comes with nourishing a human life. I offer a safe, nurturing environment for mothers who are experiencing challenges with feeding their child as well as evidence-based, holistic guidance throughout their first year of life together.

Help with Feeding began as a way to offer resources for mothers who may be feeling isolated during this deeply personal phase of life. I have seen firsthand what a difference easily accessible, gently guided, trustworthy support can make.

I want women to know that they are never alone in their motherhood journey and that Help with Feeding is just a call away.

My Mission

Help with Feeding provides accessible, evidence-based, holistic support services for both mother and baby during their first year together. I welcome moms to a safe space where they can trust in the gentle guidance we offer and build a strong feeding foundation. I aim to inform, empower, and inspire mothers to nourish their babies, listen to their intuition, and move gracefully through life in their role as mother.
